George A. Romero dreht Sequel zu "Diary of the Dead"
Im Frühjahr sollen die Dreharbeiten zu dem Sequel von "Diary of the Dead" beginnen. George A. Romero ist wieder Drehbuchautor und Regisseur. Die Geschichte geht dort weiter, wo der erste Film aufgehört hat - den die Weinstein Co. erst im nächsten Jahr in die US-Kinos bringt, der aber seine Premiere auf dem Filmfestival von Toronto im September hatte. Er handelte von einer Gruppe von Studenten, die einen Horrorfilm drehen, dabei aber von Zombies gestört werden. Im Sequel erkämpfen sich die Überlebenden die Flucht aus einem Haus, in dem sie sich verbarrikadiert hatten und suchen Frieden auf einer entlegenen Insel. Doch den Untoten ist kein Weg zu weit.
